Below are some tips from selecting the right size, content and folding options to make sure it’s a success

Brochure Design

The design of a brochure has the ability to attract new customers and is ultimately the most important part of the brochure. Having a poorly designed brochure can actually turn off the readers and can make your business and brand look unprofessional. It’s important to keep with the basics; content and design must be clear and simple.

Make sure that the images and content used for the brochure are easy to read and most importantly, easy to understand. If including colorful statistics and graphics, make sure they have a purpose and the consumers can easily understand the message you are trying to convey. A confused consumer often times results in a lost customer.

The Content

Now that you have grab your customer’s attention, it is time to create the content. You’ll want to present your offers and message in detail. The content is important as it can bring awareness, drive sales and encourage repeat customers. Once the content has been determined, you’ll get a better understanding of how to arrange it throughout the brochure by importance. Keep it clear and concise, and keep clear of adding unneeded information. To-the-point and short descriptions are easier to read. Often times, this can lead people to reading the entire brochure. Make sure the use of colors are appropriate and match your brand.

Brochures have a tendency to have a longer shelf life than other print materials, so selecting the right paper stock is important. Sometimes this process is overlooked. Choosing the thickness and coating plays an important role in the design. For example, choosing glossy paper can give it an appealing look, and having a thicker stock may make it look more professional than a thinner stock.

With our brochures, we offer 100LB, 70LB and 80LB paper stock along with printing options including satin, aqueous, glossy and even uncoated. Depending on the market and your message, paper can play a pivotal role in the overall design.

As you can see,  there are a lot of variables and options that can impact the success of a brochure. When designed properly, it can be an effective marketing tool.
